Record-Breaking Heat in February

While it’s been far from hot in Vancouver over the last month, the market in February was hotter than any other February on record. In fact, “sales were 56.3 % above the 10-year sales average for the month.” [VREB, Mar 2016] That’s hard to believe, even for a seasoned (but youthful, ha ha) realtor like myself.

Inventory is still in high demand, so spread the word to family and friends—it is truly a seller’s market right now! Don’t hesitate to give me a call to chat about your property’s potential.

Buyers want to see homes on the market and the conditions remain favourable—giving sellers the upper hand when negotiating closing dates and conditions.

It's not just detached homes that are seeing record-breaking increases, condos and lofts have jumped 18% since this time last year, townhomes are up 17% and detached homes are 27% over last February—which is absolutely due to the low number of listings. [VREB, Mar 2016]

Thank you for being fabulous and loyal clients over the years. You are the reason I get out of bed in the morning...
